A Quinceañera is the celebration of a girl’s 15th birthday, marking her passage from girlhood to womanhood. Quinceañeras are not only traditional, but allow young women a chance to celebrate their heritage through fashion and beauty. Ok, so we skipped all the rituals and traditions and infused the theme in our own creative way at the Fabyan Forest Preserve here in the Chicagoland suburb of Geneva, Illinois.
Located on the Fox River, the preserve became a showplace in the state with its model farm, extensive greenhouses, windmill, Japanese-style and other ornamental gardens, arbors and grotto, and pools and ponds. What a perfect place for our Quinceañera themed photo shoot. Enjoy!
